Early life of Umer Sharif
Born in Liaquatabad, Karachi as Mohammad Umer. Changed his name to Omer Sharif when he joined theatre. Career from Karachi as a stage performer at the age of 14.

Umer was married to Shakeela Qureshi, a PTV star, but she ended with her divorce. Shakeela belongs to Multan and works in dramatic PTV. Shakeela is an actress, well-known for Miss Troublesome and Mr. 420 (1992) (1993).
